It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, rather than native Squarespace code. In Elfsight's editor, you can choose from four layouts: List, Grid, Masonry and Slider. You can filter reviews by rating, exclude specific reviews and set how many appear. The widget also has a review-request button that takes visitors to your Airbnb listing. Its customisable interface includes details such as the author's name and photo, review text, posting date, Airbnb icon and star rating. New reviews update automatically.

Who it suits

This widget suits accommodation owners who want to show Airbnb guest feedback on a Squarespace site and give prospective renters a way to read reviews before visiting the listing. It may also suit hosts who want to direct visitors to Airbnb to leave feedback. Automatic translation of review text is available on Pro plans and higher. On Elfsight's free plan, the widget carries Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove these. The widget stops showing if your Elfsight account lapses.

Installation

Build and customise the widget in Elfsight's online editor, then copy its embed code. In Squarespace, add a Code Block where you want the reviews to appear and paste the code there.
