amazon-reviews-elfsight
Amazon Reviews

Amazon Reviews from Elfsight displays verified customer reviews from Amazon on a Squarespace page, giving visitors ratings and written feedback to consider before they buy. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. You build and configure it in Elfsight's online editor, where you can choose List, Grid, Masonry or Slider layout, filter reviews by type, exclude terms, set how many appear and switch the header on or off. You can also choose which reviewer details to show and configure the review request button. It is a straightforward way to bring Amazon feedback onto a Squarespace page without building a review display from scratch.

Who it suits

This widget suits Squarespace businesses that sell products on Amazon and want to show verified Amazon feedback on their own website. It can also help visitors compare review details before following through to an Amazon listing. A free plan is available to start with.

One honest caveat

Reviews are synchronised roughly every three days, so changes on Amazon may not appear immediately. The widget displays verified Amazon customer reviews, and its review request button sends visitors to your Amazon page. On Elfsight's free plan, widgets carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits. Paid plans remove those limits and branding. The widget stops showing if the Elfsight account lapses.

Installation

Build and customise the widget in Elfsight's online editor, then copy its embed code. In Squarespace, add a Code Block where you want the reviews to appear and paste the code there. Later edits made in Elfsight's editor update automatically on the page. Keep the Elfsight account active for the widget to continue showing.

Related guide: browse more Squarespace marketing plugins, or the full Squarespace plugins hub.
