Paperless Flip For Squarespace from BeyondSpace turns a PDF you have uploaded to Squarespace into an interactive, page-turning flipbook inside a Code Block. It works with PDFs uploaded through the Squarespace Link Editor (the /s/ file URLs), includes a table of contents so readers can jump around longer documents, and BeyondSpace say it works anywhere the block editor is available, from normal pages to blog post bodies and product additional info.

What you get

Flipbook viewer for PDFs uploaded to Squarespace, placed with a Code Block

Table of contents for longer documents

Unlimited flipbooks and PDF files on either licence

Works in pages, blog posts and product additional info areas

Choice of a $39 yearly subscription or a $59 one-time licence

Who it suits

Brochures, menus, catalogues, annual reports, magazines and lookbooks. It suits hospitality venues, charities publishing reports, retailers with catalogues and anyone whose PDFs currently sit behind a download link.

Honest limits

The PDFs are hosted on Squarespace, which caps each upload at 20MB, so very large print files need compressing first. The one-time licence includes 12 months of updates and support and runs under a fair use policy of 10,000 monthly views (BeyondSpace describe it as a soft limit). BeyondSpace do not state which Squarespace versions are supported on the product page, so check with them if you are on 7.0.

How it is delivered

Two options: a $39 per year subscription with ongoing updates, priority support and unlimited page views, or a $59 one-time perpetual licence with 12 months of updates and support. Installation instructions arrive after purchase. You upload your PDF through the Link Editor, copy its link and add a Code Block where the flipbook should appear.

Related guide: browse more Squarespace gallery and media plugins, or the full Squarespace plugins hub.
