poll-elfsight
Poll

Poll from Elfsight lets you add an online poll to a Squarespace page, where visitors can answer questions and see results update after they vote. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. You build it in Elfsight's online editor, choosing a template or starting from scratch, then setting questions, answers and result behaviour. The editor supports question types such as multiple choice and rating scales, conditional logic, and fields including checkboxes, dropdown lists, text fields and radio buttons. You can also adjust colours, headers, buttons and backgrounds, add a completion message or call-to-action button, and preview design changes before embedding.

Who it suits

This can suit businesses that want to collect opinions, test ideas or ask visitors for feedback on a Squarespace page. It is also useful when you want poll responses to inform product suggestions or offers, or to show visitors the result after voting. A free plan is available to start with.

One honest caveat

This poll is hosted by Elfsight, so it relies on your Elfsight account and will stop showing if that account lapses. Widgets on the free plan carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The vendor describes live vote counts and percentages, but does not specify response export or storage controls, so check the editor if those matter to your setup.

Installation

Build the poll in Elfsight's online editor, choosing a template or starting from scratch and setting its questions, design and result behaviour. Copy the generated embed code and paste it into a Squarespace Code Block where you want the poll to appear. Later edits in the editor update automatically.

Related guide: browse more Squarespace marketing plugins, or the full Squarespace plugins hub.
