rss-feed-elfsight
RSS Feed

RSS Feed from Elfsight lets you display articles, blog posts and updates from RSS sources on a Squarespace page, bringing several sources together in one feed. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. In Elfsight's online editor, you can choose from six layouts: Grid, Masonry, List, Slider, Carousel and Collage. You can adjust columns, rows and the number of displayed elements, then choose which post details to show, such as the author, date, source icon, text and share button. The editor also offers popup viewing in Slider or Feed mode, and controls for colours and individual components.

Who it suits

This widget may suit site owners who want to bring posts from their own blog or other public RSS sources into one display on a Squarespace page. It offers layout and post-detail controls, along with options for filtering and moderation. A free plan is available to start with.

One honest caveat

Elfsight supports public RSS URLs only, so protected feeds need to be made publicly accessible. The feed shows post previews, with full details available in a popup or external view, rather than displaying full articles in the feed itself. Free-tier widgets carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The widget stops showing if the Elfsight account lapses.

Installation

Build and customise the feed in Elfsight's online editor, then copy its embed code. In Squarespace, paste the code into a Code Block where you want the feed to appear. Later changes made in the Elfsight editor update automatically, without replacing the code.

Related guide: browse more free Squarespace plugins, or the full Squarespace plugins hub.
