vimeo-video-gallery-elfsight
Vimeo Video Gallery

Vimeo Video Gallery from Elfsight lets you show Vimeo videos and playlists on a Squarespace page, giving visitors a place to browse selected work and play clips. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. In Elfsight's online editor, you can choose grid, slider or list presentation, add videos from a Vimeo source, and adjust colours, fonts, spacing and thumbnail shapes. Video viewing can be set to popup or inline, while playlist layouts can play videos one after another. Each gallery uses one source type, such as a channel, playlist, album, group, Vimeo user or individual video link. We would use it when a page needs a focused video collection rather than a single embed.

Who it suits

This suits Squarespace site owners who want to present a Vimeo channel, playlist or selected videos alongside a brand story, tutorial or creative portfolio. It gives visitors a gallery to browse, with options for list, grid or slider layouts and popup or inline viewing. A free plan is available to start with.

One honest caveat

Each gallery pulls from one defined Vimeo source type, so the vendor does not describe mixing source types in a single gallery. Playlist autoplay is subject to browser policies and user interaction rules. On the free tier, the widget carries Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove these. The widget also stops showing if the Elfsight account lapses.

Installation

Build the gallery in Elfsight's online editor by selecting a template, choosing a Vimeo source and adjusting its settings. Copy the generated embed code, then paste it into a Squarespace Code Block where you want the gallery to appear. Later edits in the Elfsight editor update automatically.

Related guide: browse more Squarespace gallery and media plugins, or the full Squarespace plugins hub.
