This $49 plugin from SQSPThemes closes the gap: it displays any public RSS feed inside a genuine Squarespace summary block, styled and customized exactly like a regular one, so external content looks native to your site. There are more reasons to display external content on a Squarespace site than first appear. A consultant who writes on Medium wants those articles visible on their own site. An industry association wants a curated news feed from a trusted source. A creator wants their YouTube uploads listed alongside their own pages. Squarespace's summary blocks handle none of this, since they only draw from your own site's collections.
This plugin extends the summary block to any public RSS feed. The important design decision is that the output is a real summary block, so every layout, styling and customization option you already use applies to the external content, and the feed items sit in your design indistinguishably from native content.
