These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SquareLocator at squarelocator.com (the “Site”), including our curated listings, editorial content, extension guides, newsletter, and any purchases you make through our Shopify store (together, the “Services”). By using the Site or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

The Site is operated by SquareLocator, a curated marketplace for the Squarespace community, operated by Altitude, a UK web design studio founded by Miles Noble.

Independence from Squarespace

SquareLocator is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Squarespace, Inc. “Squarespace” is a trademark of its respective owner. We may link to Squarespace and third-party sites for convenience; their terms and privacy policies apply when you leave our Site.

What SquareLocator provides

SquareLocator helps visitors discover Squarespace templates, plugins, tools, courses, and related resources from trusted creators and partners. In many cases, listings link to third-party websites where purchases are completed directly with the creator or vendor.

Where we sell products through our own store, those transactions are governed by these Terms and any product-specific licence or delivery terms shown at checkout.

Our extension guides, blog posts, and recommendations are provided for general information. They are not professional, legal, or technical advice, and you should verify compatibility and suitability for your own project before purchasing any third-party product.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least the age of legal capacity in your jurisdiction to place an order or enter into a contract with us. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep account credentials confidential where customer accounts are used.

You may not misuse the Site, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, scrape the Site in a way that harms performance, copy substantial parts of our catalogue for republication without permission, or use the Site for unlawful purposes.

Products, listings, and digital goods

We aim to describe products, templates, plugins, tools, and courses accurately. Minor errors may occur; where a product is materially misdescribed, your statutory rights (where applicable) are not affected.

Digital products sold through our store may be delivered by download, email, licence key, or access link. Unless otherwise stated, digital content is licensed for use according to the creator’s or our applicable licence terms supplied with the product. You must not redistribute digital goods except as expressly permitted.

Products purchased on third-party sites are subject to those sellers’ terms, support, and refund policies. SquareLocator is not responsible for fulfilment, licensing, or support for purchases made outside our store.

Orders, pricing, and payment

When you place an order on our store, you offer to buy at the prices shown (plus applicable taxes and shipping where relevant). We may refuse or cancel an order in limited cases, for example where we suspect fraud, where there is an obvious pricing error, or where a product is unavailable.

Payment is processed by our payment providers through Shopify. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge your chosen payment method for the total shown at checkout.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, mandatory rights under applicable consumer law may apply in addition to these Terms, including rights relating to digital content and distance contracts where relevant.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund and cancellation rights depend on the type of product purchased and your location. For orders placed on our store, we will handle refund requests in line with applicable consumer law and the product details shown at checkout. For purchases made on third-party websites linked from SquareLocator, please contact the seller directly.

Affiliate links and commissions

Some links on SquareLocator are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase on a third-party site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only feature products and services we believe are useful to the Squarespace community. Affiliate relationships do not change the price you pay on the third-party site.

Intellectual property

All SquareLocator branding, editorial content, site design, logos, and original materials on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or exploit them except as allowed by law or with our written consent.

Product intellectual property remains with the respective creators or licensors. A purchase grants only the rights expressly stated for that product.

Disclaimers

The Site and our editorial content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any third-party product, integration, or Squarespace feature will meet your requirements.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot be excluded for consumers under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or products purchased from third parties linked from SquareLocator.

Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to any order placed directly with us is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SquareLocator and its operator against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or misuse of any product in violation of applicable licences, except to the extent prohibited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you may benefit from mandatory protections in your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
