TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective date: 20 April 2026 (update when you publish).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and our online store (together, the “Site”), and any purchases you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Important: This is a draft template for a UK/EU-oriented ecommerce store. It is not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer adapt it to your entity, products, refund rules, and consumer law obligations.
Who we are and independence
The Site is operated by the legal entity named on our storefront and checkout (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).
SquareLocator is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Squarespace, Inc. “Squarespace” is a trademark of its owner. We may link to third-party sites (including Squarespace) for convenience; their terms and privacy policies apply when you leave our Site.
Eligibility and use of the Site
You must be at least the age of legal capacity in your jurisdiction to place an order. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep account credentials confidential where customer accounts are used.
You may not misuse the Site, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, scrape the Site in a way that harms performance, or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
Products, digital goods, and descriptions
We aim to describe products, templates, plugins, tools, and courses accurately. Minor errors may occur; where a product is materially misdescribed, your statutory rights (where applicable) are not affected.
Digital products may be delivered by download, email, licence key, or access link. Unless otherwise stated, digital content is licensed for use according to the creator’s or our applicable licence terms supplied with the product. You must not redistribute digital goods except as expressly permitted.
Some items may be fulfilled or supported by third-party creators; their terms may also apply.
Orders, pricing, and payment
When you place an order, you offer to buy at the prices shown (plus applicable taxes and shipping where relevant). We may refuse or cancel an order in limited cases (for example fraud risk, obvious error in price, or stock issues).
Payment is processed by our payment providers. You authorise us and Shopify to charge your chosen payment method for the total at checkout.
Consumer rights: If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, mandatory rights under consumer law (including cancellation rights for distance contracts where they apply) may apply in addition to these Terms. Insert your specific refund, return, and withdrawal policy here or link to a dedicated policy page.
Third-party links and affiliate disclosure
Our Site and communications may include links to third-party websites or products. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you make a purchase on a third-party site. We only recommend products or services we believe are useful; affiliate relationships do not increase the price you pay on the third-party site.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, layout, and software) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or exploit it except as allowed by law or with our written consent.
Product IP remains with the respective creators or licensors; your purchase grants only the rights expressly stated for that product.
Disclaimers
The Site and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where allowed, except that nothing in these Terms limits statutory warranties that cannot be excluded for consumers.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that third-party integrations (including Squarespace) will meet your requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or products.
Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-excludable rights).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless our legal entity, directors, and staff against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or misuse of any product in violation of applicable licences—except to the extent prohibited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law to apply.
If you are a consumer resident in the UK or EEA, you may benefit from mandatory protections in your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
Non-consumer disputes may be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales—replace this if your lawyer advises a different forum or arbitration clause.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
