Overview
Common Ninja's Link In Bio widget builds a branded link page (links, social profiles, images, video and contact buttons) that you embed on a page of your own Squarespace site, rather than sending your social traffic to a third-party link domain. There are six header layouts (Wave, Classic, Hero, Gradient, Split and Minimal), ready-made templates, and click tracking on links, cards, images and videos.
What you get
- Six header layouts: Wave, Classic, Hero, Gradient, Split and Minimal
- Links to websites, email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp, with labels, descriptions, icons and badges
- Social profile icons in the header, the body or both
- Images, videos, text sections and promotional cards
- Ready-made templates for creators, restaurants, musicians, shops and consultants
- Click tracking, translations and display rules, plus full design controls
Who it suits
Creators, musicians, restaurants, salons, shops and consultants who share one link from Instagram or TikTok and want it to land on their own domain. Squarespace does not have a link-in-bio block, and building one by hand with buttons is fiddly to maintain.
Honest limits
- You still need to create a page on your site to hold it, ideally hidden from the main navigation, and keep the link list short so the first few entries do the work.
- It is an externally hosted embed, so it loads from Common Ninja's servers rather than from Squarespace.
- The free plan has monthly view limits; once a busy page passes the cap the widget can stop showing until you upgrade or the month resets.
- You need a Squarespace plan that lets you add code blocks.
How it is delivered
Sign up for a free Common Ninja account, build the widget in their visual editor, then copy the embed code from the Add to Website tab and paste it into a Squarespace code block. There is nothing to install on Squarespace itself and no files to download. The free plan is ongoing; paid Common Ninja plans are billed by Common Ninja and raise view limits and unlock extra features.

Setup follows the usual Common Ninja routine: build it in their visual editor, paste one line of embed code into a Squarespace code block, and any later edits update on your site automatically. A free plan is available, with paid tiers for higher view limits and extra features.
