Overview

Pinterest Feed from Elfsight lets you place Pinterest visuals on a Squarespace page, using a full profile, selected boards or individual pins as the source. Visitors can browse a stream of images without you rebuilding those collections in Squarespace. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. In Elfsight's editor, you can show or hide the profile header, display boards one by one or combine them in a single grid, and choose whether pin author, text and share button appear. You can also set a theme colour and adjust width and height; the widget is described as mobile responsive.

Who it suits

It suits Squarespace sites that share visual inspiration, feature Pinterest collections, or want to show selected product images and theme boards. It can also give visitors a way to follow a Pinterest account when a profile feed is used. A free plan is available to start with.

One honest caveat

The widget uses public Pinterest profiles, boards or pins, and clicking a pin takes visitors to Pinterest in a new browser tab. On the free tier, the widget carries Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The feed stops showing if the Elfsight account lapses, so it depends on keeping that account active.

Installation

Choose a profile, board or pins in Elfsight's online editor, then adjust the display options and copy the generated embed code. In Squarespace, paste that code into a Code Block on the page where you want the feed to appear. Later edits in Elfsight's editor update automatically.

Use a Pinterest profile, one or more boards, or selected pins as the content source. Elfsight's page says the widget can draw from public Pinterest content without an API key or authentication setup. A profile feed can include the account header and a Follow button, while board and pin sources let you focus the display on a particular collection.

The editor gives you control over how the feed is presented. Show or hide the profile header, display boards one after another, or combine them into a single grid. You can also choose whether pin details such as the author, text and share button appear, and set a theme colour for the interface.

Width and height can be adjusted, and the vendor describes the widget as mobile responsive. Its Pinterest page also shows examples of profile pins, theme boards, a pin grid and a sidebar placement. These are ways to present the feed, not a promise that every Squarespace layout will look identical.

The widget is built and hosted on Elfsight's platform rather than being native Squarespace code. Create and configure it in Elfsight's editor, then add its embed code to a Squarespace Code Block. You can make later changes in the editor without replacing the code. The free plan is available, with Elfsight branding and monthly view limits on free-tier widgets.
