Monday is a Squarespace 7.1 template design kit from Ghost Plugins, part of their Paper range. It is not an artist's portfolio template, which is what our old listing suggested. It is a general-purpose design system: twelve pre-built pages plus a library of more than fifty movable sections, sold as either a Paper version (unbranded, clean slate) or a Branded version with colours and styling pre-set. The idea is that you assemble a site from proven sections rather than start from a blank page, and Ghost estimate it saves ten to fifteen hours of design time.
What is included
The demo navigation splits into three groups. Pages: Landing 01, Landing 02, General 01, General 02, Pricing, Contact and Blog. Sections: Hero, Text, Image, Text and Image, Accordion, Form and Pricing, each a page of variations you copy into your own layouts. More: 404, Schedule, Coming Soon, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Purchase includes the template guide, an extended 12-month Squarespace trial, 20% off an annual Squarespace plan, and a licence covering personal and client use.
Who it suits
Designers and small agencies building client sites quickly, and business owners who would rather pick from finished sections than design them. Because the content is neutral, it works for consultancies, SaaS landing pages, local services and small brands. The pricing page and schedule page make it a reasonable base for a course or membership site too.
Trade-offs
Honest caveats: Monday is a kit, not a finished site. The demo uses placeholder text throughout, and the result depends on how well you combine the sections. If you want a template that already looks like your industry on day one, a niche template will get you there faster. Note also that the two demos are password-protected (the password is on Ghost's product page), and that the Paper version is deliberately plain.

Who Noire is built forNoire is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Big Cat Creative for photographers and creatives who want a dark, bold site. The demo is a photography duo "creating memories with mood and passion" offering portraits, influencer shoots and boudoir, with a journal and an inquiry form. The vendor also lists interior designers and small businesses, and the black and white presets giveaway in the demo tells you the expected buyer is a working photographer with a following. The old listing counted four pages; the vendor lists seven and the demo agrees.The pages and sections you getThe seven pages are Home, About, Services, Info, Portfolio, Journal (the blog) and Inquire (the contact page). The home page runs a bold statement hero, a quote block, a numbered services list (portraits and influencers in the demo), a presets newsletter signup, a journal summary, a personal introduction and an Instagram-style gallery. Services expands each category with descriptions and an FAQ; Info is a single-service page with what's included and project examples; Portfolio is a gallery index; Inquire pairs the form with the presets signup. There is no shop in the base build. Matching shop, sales page, podcast, freebie and link page layouts exist, but they are sold separately as add-ons; the demo site carries them off the main navigation.Design and customisation notesNoire is built on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine sections, so every layout is edited with the native drag and drop editor and site styles panel; there is no plugin or code to maintain. Big Cat Creative publishes reworked demos of the same template (Noire Bold, Noire Neutral, Noire Pro) to show how far the colours, fonts and imagery can be pushed, which I find a more honest demonstration of flexibility than a list of adjectives. Purchase includes delivery within 48 hours as a new site or an install into your existing 7.1 site, step by step video tutorials, a Squarespace resource library, editable Canva graphics, a copywriting workbook with AI prompts, an SEO checklist and a launch guide. Noire is dark by default, with high-contrast serif and sans pairings and large monochrome imagery; the Neutral and Pro variants show that the layout still works on a light background if black is too much for your brand.One honest caveatNoire has no client galleries, proofing or booking. Delivering images still needs a separate service and enquiries arrive through a form.
