Template: Glassmorphism offers a structured, professional layout tailored for businesses and creatives on Squarespace 7.1. With easy customization options and mobile-friendly design, this template streamlines the setup process, allowing users to focus on content rather than structure. Ideal for those seeking clarity and efficiency in their online presence.
The View is a Squarespace 7.1 template sold through the SquareKicker template store, credited there to Altitude, and it is a hotel and serviced apartments site rather than the estate agent listing template older listings described. The demo is a boutique aparthotel: a full-width hero with a book-now button, an escape-to-elegance introduction, a studios and apartments grid, an eat-and-drink section, things to do, a pool and gym block, a subscribe strip and a room page example with room details and other rooms. SquareKicker's own pitch names hotels, Airbnb hosts, real estate and travel agencies, and the layout will stretch to a holiday let or a small portfolio of rentals. What you get
Nine page layouts: Home, About Us, Studios and Apartments, Room Page, Drink and Dine, Pool and Gym, Things To Do, FAQs and Contact, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
Nineteen SquareKicker sections including hero, hero card, studio listings, bedrooms, room details, other rooms, eat and drink, things to do, video, subscribe, FAQ and contact
A room page layout you duplicate per room or apartment, with a booking call to action in the header
A green, orange, white and brown palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
A SquareKicker desktop overlay menu
A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial
Who it suitsBoutique hotels, aparthotels, serviced apartment operators, holiday lets and Airbnb hosts with a handful of units, plus small guest houses that want a rooms grid, a dining page and a things-to-do page. A letting agent with a short list of properties could use the studio listings section for rentals, but it is a hospitality layout at heart.Honest limitsThere is no booking engine: the book-now button links to whatever you use (Squarespace Scheduling, a channel manager or a direct-booking widget), and there is no availability calendar. Rooms are hand-built pages, not a database, so an operator with dozens of units will find upkeep tedious. There is no property search or filtering, which is what a real estate agency actually needs, so treat the real estate label loosely. The overlay menu is a SquareKicker feature that needs a subscription to keep editing after the trial. How it is deliveredSquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.Related guide: compare it with the alternatives in our roundup of the best Squarespace templates for hotels and hospitality, or browse the Squarespace templates hub.
Squarehead is the advanced Squarespace course from Dave Hawkins, founder of London studio Made by Dave and an official Squarespace Expert, Circle Platinum Partner and Authorised Trainer. It is built for designers who can already put together a decent 7.1 site but have hit a ceiling: custom CSS still feels like guesswork, every build starts from scratch, and pricing is based on hours rather than value.
Related guide: see how it compares with the other seven courses I rate in our best Squarespace courses in 2026 roundup, where it is the pick for working designers.
Button enhances your Squarespace site by adding interactive elements like buttons, tabs, and accordions. This plugin ensures that your calls to action and micro-UI components maintain a consistent style with your existing theme, all while working within Squarespace's native framework for a seamless integration experience.
What it covers
Squarespace Mastery 3.0 is Olga of Applet Studio's Web Design 101 course, and the point that separates it from most Squarespace tutorials is that it treats Squarespace as the implementation tool, not the design tool. Roughly the first half is about deciding what the site should be before you open the editor. More than 700 people have taken it since 2020, and the 3.0 version is a full rebuild for Fluid Engine.
The workshops cover Figma and essential design skills (preparing graphics, mockups, vector tools, masks and shadows), web design fundamentals (typography, layout, grids and composition), a vanilla theme build where you design and implement a black and white base theme in Squarespace with the Figma files and CSS snippets supplied, website copywriting and project stages with a content gathering guide, and a design practicum in which Olga takes two brands from mood board to Figma prototype to a finished Squarespace build. Bonuses include a development checklist, a sample creative brief, the studio's branding workshop as a Google Doc, extra Figma files and a homework assignment that Olga gives personal feedback on. A paid add-on at checkout covers home page structures for service, product and coaching businesses.
Who it is for
Aspiring designers, marketers and virtual assistants adding web design to their services, and business owners who can operate Squarespace but are unhappy with how their site looks. No drawing, illustration or coding skills are assumed.
Format and access
Over eight hours of video on Teachable with all resources available immediately: tutorials, Figma files, CSS and the homework. Self-paced; Olga says people either binge it over a weekend or spread it out. Purchases are non-refundable, and the designs remain Applet Studio's copyright, so you cannot resell the vanilla theme as a template.
Where it falls short
It is not a CSS course; you get snippets for common fixes and Applet Studio's CSS Mastery is the follow-on. The Figma emphasis is a strength if you plan to design for clients and a detour if you only want your own site done. And the practicum shows Olga's taste, which is clean and editorial; if your clients want something louder you will be adapting. Having built over 400 Squarespace sites, I think the planning before implementation lesson alone justifies a course at this level for a new designer.

Squarespace Grid Menu enhances your site's navigation by presenting menu items in an engaging grid layout. This plugin from SQS Mods offers dynamic options like slide or fade effects, making it easier for visitors to explore multi-level menus without needing complex custom code. Ideal for teams focused on improving user experience on Squarespace 7.1.
The Tilted Image Widget allows Squarespace site owners to add intentional interface components like buttons, tabs, and accordions with ease. This plugin focuses on enhancing user engagement through consistent styling that aligns with your theme, helping you avoid clunky workarounds and streamline your content presentation directly within the Squarespace interface.
The Simple Play Button Style enhances multimedia integration on your Squarespace site, allowing for a customized, engaging experience. With its mobile-responsive design, this plugin ensures that videos and audio elements appear flawlessly across devices, perfect for creatives and businesses looking to showcase their work without any coding skills.
A Squarespace blog is a single scrolling list with no search, sort or filter, which is fine until the archive passes fifty posts. Squarespace Blog Filter from SQS Mods replaces the native listing with a filterable one: readers get an instant search box plus filters for category, tag, author and year, and can switch between three layouts, an equal-card Grid, an editorial Newsroom with a full-width hero post, and an image-led Mosaic. The plugin reads your Squarespace button shape, colours and border radius so the filter bar and cards match your template without CSS work, and dozens of settings control column counts, card heights, image overlays and what appears on each card.Who it suitsSites where the blog is doing real work: course libraries, case studies, news archives, recipe collections and resource hubs where readers arrive looking for a specific topic. It also suits designers who want a magazine-style blog landing page without building it by hand. One honest caveatFiltering is only as good as your tagging. Posts without consistent categories, tags and authors will not sort cleanly, and the year filter assumes your archive spans more than one. This is a substantial plugin with a lot of options, so allow time to configure it, and it is built for Squarespace 7.1 blog pages using custom code, which requires a Business plan or higher.InstallationSQS Mods supply a configurator that builds the code from your chosen layout and filter settings. Installation is two code blocks pasted into the blog page header code injection following their instructions.
Rounded Corner for Simple List Cards (7.1 only) enhances the look of buttons, tabs, and accordions in Squarespace. It streamlines interface components, ensuring a consistent design across your site without the hassle of custom coding. Perfect for users focused on micro-UI elements within their Squarespace 7.1 projects, it simplifies aesthetic adjustments.
The Summary Block is one of the most useful blocks in Squarespace and one of the most limited: it stops at 30 items, full stop. Once a shop, blog or portfolio grows past that, you are stuck splitting content across pages or building clumsy workarounds. Lazy Load Summaries Block from Squarewebsites removes the ceiling. Install it once and the Summary Block can show every item in a collection, loading them in batches behind a Load More button so the page still opens quickly. What it actually doesThe plugin adds extra tabs to the normal Summary Block settings panel, so you keep editing where you always have. From those tabs you can switch on unlimited items, sort by name, title, author, date, price or likes, filter by several tags or categories at once (the native block only allows one), open item links in a new tab, show an alternate image on hover for products, open images in a lightbox, and adjust grid sizes and spacing. It works with products, blog posts, events and portfolio pages, and it can pull from multiple blogs through the vendor's Sync Collections tool or from a custom JSON collection. Developers get a hooks system for running their own code around the block.Who it suitsI reach for this on client sites with a large catalogue or archive that wants a single, filterable landing page: a shop with a hundred products on one page, a long-running blog, or a portfolio that has outgrown Squarespace's own limit. If your collections are comfortably under 30 items, you do not need it.Honest caveatsIt only works on Summary Blocks, not on collection pages themselves. Masonry layouts are not supported (simple and basic grids only), password-protected collections are excluded, past events cap out at 60, and a collection sitting inside a folder needs a quick shuffle out and back in before the block will pick it up. None of these are deal-breakers, but read them before buying.InstallationOne block of code pasted into Footer Code Injection, after which the new tabs appear in the Summary Block settings. Squarewebsites supports Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1, and it works on Personal plans too if you paste the code into a Markdown block instead. Licensing is a one-time payment per website with support included. It is also bundled free in the vendor's SquareTools Extension Pro, worth knowing if you are considering several Squarewebsites plugins.Related guide: see our roundup of the best Squarespace plugins in 2026 for the wider field.

Blog Post Banner Image Styles adds proper banner images to Squarespace 7.1 blog posts, something the platform still does not offer natively. Choose from 6 different banner layouts, apply one style across your whole blog or set styles per post, and the plugin pulls each banner from the post's thumbnail image so there is no extra work per article.A genuine advantage over competing banner plugins: it works on all Squarespace plans, including Personal, because installation goes through the blog code injection area rather than site-wide code injection. It is SEO friendly, mobile responsive, and installs with copy and paste code plus a video guide. See where it sits among the best Squarespace plugins in 2026.

What Squarespace Event and Calendar Filter isSquarespace Event and Calendar Filter is a plugin from SQS Mods that replaces the plain chronological list on a Squarespace 7.1 Events page with a filterable, card based calendar. It is installed as code generated by their configurator, with no CSS to write. This page is written from the SQS Mods product page and their live demo. What it doesVisitors can narrow events by date range, location, category and tag, toggle between upcoming and past events, and see results as a one column timeline or a two or three column grid of cards that collapses sensibly on tablet and mobile. With native styles enabled the plugin reads your primary button colour, text colour and border radius from Squarespace Site Styles, or you set them manually, and there are separate controls for card and UI radius, an image overlay to keep titles legible over photography, and a swap option that moves the date into a pill on the hero image. Nine visibility toggles let you hide any element you do not need (the upcoming and past switch, event count, reset button, each filter and the badges), you can set a custom order for categories and tags, and the date picker supports day first or month first formats for UK and US audiences.Who it suitsVenues, studios and gyms with weekly classes, churches and community organisations, festivals with a full programme, and any Squarespace 7.1 site whose events run across several locations or types. If visitors regularly ask what is on near them next month, this answers it on the page. One honest caveatThe filter is only as useful as your event data. It needs categories, tags and locations filled in consistently on every event, and a calendar with two events does not need filtering at all. It works on Squarespace 7.1 Events pages only, not on blog or summary blocks, and because it is custom code it needs a plan with code injection. Test it against your busiest month before relying on it.SetupSQS Mods supply a configurator that builds the code from your chosen layout and filter options. You paste the result into the Events page header code injection following their guide, which requires a Business (now Core) plan or higher. It is a one-off purchase and removing the code returns the Events page to Squarespace's default list with your events untouched.Related guideI compare this with the other calendar and scheduling tools in my roundup of the best Squarespace booking and calendar plugins in 2026, and it has a place in the wider best Squarespace plugins in 2026 list. Every add-on I track is in the Squarespace plugins collection.

With easy-to-change colors, fonts, and sizes, this plugin enhances user communication and experience across devices. Perfect for businesses and creatives, it ensures your alerts are not just functional but also visually appealing.
Little Sprouts is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Emily Kay, sold through the SquareKicker template store. The designer lists it for baby and kids, education and professional services websites, and the demo is set up as a daycare centre with a curriculum page, a book-a-visit page and an FAQ. We include it in the nonprofit collection because community playgroups, preschools and family charities share that shape.Who it suitsNurseries, preschools, community childcare, parent and toddler groups and family-focused charities that need to explain what they offer, answer parents' questions and invite them to visit. The friendly styling suits organisations working with children; a policy charity or professional body would need to restyle it heavily. One honest caveatLittle Sprouts installs through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a Squarespace 7.1 site, and its animations (smooth scroll, scroll effects, layered blocks, anchor links) are SquareKicker features. The template purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker trial, but editing or extending those design and animation settings after the trial needs a SquareKicker subscription. There is no donate page in the demo, so a charity will add Squarespace's donation block (Business plan or higher). What is includedEleven pre-built page layouts: services, landing, about, people, blog, contact, form, information, FAQ, legal and 404. In the demo these appear as Home, What We Offer, Daycare Services, Learning Plans and Curriculum, About Us, Visit Our Centre, FAQ, Blog, Contact Us and Terms. There are 31 featured sections, including hero, services, features, video, call to action, FAQ, reviews, blog, people, newsletter, gallery and contact form.
