Easy Video Lightbox from Ghost Plugins lets a navigation link, button, image or ordinary text link on a Squarespace site open a YouTube or Vimeo video in an overlay, rather than embedding the player on the page or sending the visitor off to YouTube. The page dims behind the video, the visitor watches, closes it and is back where they were. Ghost keep the options deliberately short: lightbox maximum width, overlay colour and opacity, border radius and style, close icon colour, and padding for desktop and mobile. It works on Squarespace 7.0 (Brine family) and 7.1.Who it suitsSmall businesses with one welcome or explainer video, coaches and course sellers with a trailer, venues with a tour film, and anyone who wants a "Watch the video" button in the header navigation. It is a good first plugin for someone new to custom code because there is little to configure. The licence covers multiple sites and client work. One honest caveatIt only works with YouTube and Vimeo links; videos uploaded directly to Squarespace or hosted elsewhere will not open in the lightbox, and Ghost say so plainly. It also does not build video galleries, so if you need a grid of thumbnails opening different films, look at a fuller lightbox plugin. Custom code needs a Business plan or higher.InstallationThe plugin uses the Squarespace CSS editor and code injection. Ghost supply a step-by-step guide: paste the code, then add their trigger to whichever links, buttons or images should open the video.Related guide: Best Squarespace gallery and lightbox plugins in 2026.

What Confetti Pop! Form isConfetti Pop! Form is a small Ghost Plugins add-on that fires a burst of confetti the moment a visitor submits a Squarespace Form Block or Newsletter Block. That is the whole job. It does not build forms, add fields or store submissions; your form stays native and the plugin decorates the thank-you moment. The old copy here described a form builder with data management, which is not what you are buying. What it doesThe vendor page lists five settings: up to five confetti colours, how far the confetti travels, how many pieces fire, whether the pop loops after submission, and the delay between loops. It works on Squarespace 7.0 (Brine family) and 7.1 and includes a step-by-step guide, a multi-site licence for personal and client sites, support and free updates. A live demo is linked from the vendor page.Who it suitsPlayful brands, event and wedding sites, kids' businesses and anyone whose newsletter sign-up could use a small reward. One honest caveatIt is purely cosmetic, so judge it as a finishing touch rather than a conversion tool. Because it fires from the post-submit HTML, the form must show a message after submission rather than redirect. Code injection needs a Core (formerly Business) plan or higher. The "3.0" in our title is our own label; the vendor simply calls it Confetti Pop! Form.SetupBuy it outright or unlock it through Ghost's Pro Access membership, which covers their whole Super Plugin library. Paste the main code into code injection, add the trigger to the form's post-submit HTML box, pick your colours and test a submission.
