Overview

All-in-One Reviews from Elfsight gathers reviews from several platforms into one widget on a Squarespace page. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform rather than native Squarespace code. Elfsight lists dozens of supported sources including Google, Facebook, Yelp, Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Etsy, directories such as BBB and Capterra, and the app stores, plus a Custom Source for typing in reviews from anywhere else. Each review shows the reviewer's name, photo, rating, text and source logo, under a header with your combined star rating, total count, per-platform tabs and a Write a review button. Squarespace has no native reviews block, so this is one of the simplest routes to real social proof.

Key features

  • Google, Facebook, Yelp, Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Etsy and many more
  • Several locations or accounts in one feed
  • Custom Source for reviews from unsupported platforms
  • Filters by rating, keyword and author, and hide star-only reviews
  • Six layouts, three card styles, light and dark schemes
  • Aggregate rating schema markup for rich results
  • Free plan with Elfsight branding and view limits

Who it suits

Businesses whose reputation is spread across more than one platform: a restaurant with Google and Tripadvisor reviews, a holiday let on Airbnb and Booking.com, a shop on Etsy and Google. If all your reviews are on Google alone, Elfsight's single-source Google Reviews widget is simpler.

Honest limits

The filters let you show only positive reviews. Be careful with that: cherry-picking can breach consumer protection rules in the UK and elsewhere, and visitors can see the full picture on the source platform anyway. New reviews take up to about 72 hours to sync. The automatic review translation feature needs a Pro plan or higher. Free-tier widgets carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits, and the reviews disappear if your account lapses.

Installation on Squarespace

Connect your review sources in Elfsight's editor, choose a layout, copy the embed code and paste it into a Squarespace code block where the reviews should appear. Later edits in the editor update automatically.

FAQs

FAQs

What does the Elfsight All-in-One Reviews widget do on a Squarespace site?
It collects reviews from several platforms such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, Airbnb and Tripadvisor into one feed with a combined rating, per-platform tabs and a Write a review button.
Is this native Squarespace code?
No. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform. You configure it in Elfsight's editor and paste an embed code into a Squarespace code block.
Can I add reviews from a platform Elfsight does not support?
Yes. The Custom Source option lets you type in the author, rating and text of reviews from anywhere so they appear alongside the connected sources.
How often do new reviews appear?
The widget refreshes on a schedule and Elfsight says new reviews typically show within about 72 hours of being posted on the source platform.
Does it help with Google rich results?
Elfsight adds aggregate rating schema markup, which can allow your star rating to appear in search results, although Google decides whether to show it.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Elfsight offers a free plan for this widget. Free-tier widgets include Elfsight branding and monthly view limits, which paid subscriptions remove.
