- Columns are set up in the navigation folder, not a visual builder
- Squarespace 7.1 only
- Code is pasted into your site
Overview
Dropdown Menu turns a folder in your Squarespace navigation into a multi-column mega menu. Instead of one long dropdown list, links are grouped into columns under headings, which makes larger sites far easier to browse. It is Squarepaste's newest plugin.
What you get
- A multi-column mega menu from a standard navigation folder
- Column headings created with "#" links in the folder
- An optional featured image card, pulled from any page that has a social sharing image
- Step-by-step install instructions and free updates
Who it suits
Sites with lots of services, locations, product categories or resources, such as agencies, hotels, schools and shops, where a flat dropdown becomes hard to scan.
Honest limits
The menu is driven by your existing folder structure, so you organise columns in the Squarespace navigation rather than a visual builder. Built for Squarespace 7.1.
Pricing and setup
$29, a one-off payment. Paste the code in using Squarepaste's instructions and set up the columns in your navigation. Use code SQUARE-LOCATOR for 10% off.
