Overview
Common Ninja's Image Poll widget asks visitors to vote between image options on a Squarespace page, such as which colourway, which design or which dish, and shows the results.
What it does
- Polls with an image for each option
- Results shown as percentages after voting
- Question text, layout and colour settings
- Built in Common Ninja's editor and embedded with a code block
Who it suits
Product makers testing ideas, cafes asking customers to choose a special, and creators building engagement on a blog.
Honest caveats
Public polls are informal and can be gamed, so treat results as a signal rather than research. The free plan has usage limits and paid plans are billed yearly per widget, from $24 a year. It needs a Squarespace Core plan or higher.
Free Interactive Image Poll Widget is a Squarespace 7.1 plugin from Common Ninja aimed at teams adding motion and scroll-driven polish. The scope is narrow on purpose: animation, scroll effects, and interaction detail, with attention to scroll-triggered reveals, hover and transition behavior, and performance-conscious motion.
Implementation-wise, you’re still working with Squarespace’s native structure—this is positioned as an extension of the editor, not a parallel stack.
If your site mixes effects & interactions patterns with other add-ons, skim Common Ninja’s documentation for known interactions and version support.

Worth a look when scroll-triggered reveals and hover and transition behavior are on your roadmap and you want performance-conscious motion without leaving Squarespace 7.1.
