Squarepaste: Client Chat and Tasks for Squarespace Designers

Squarepaste is a private client portal that Squarespace designers add to the sites they build. A small chat widget sits on the client's own website, visible only to them, so feedback, files, voice notes and paid tasks all happen where the site lives instead of in a tangle of emails. It is made by Squarepaste, a Nashville studio and Squarespace Circle Gold Partner, and grew out of their earlier Bridge chat tool.

Honest limits

It is a subscription, and Squarepaste takes a platform fee on client payments (2% on Link and Connect, 1% on Atlas). If the subscription lapses, chat pauses but your data is kept.

Pricing

Link $19 a month for up to 5 client sites, Connect $39 a month for up to 25, and Atlas $99 a month for unlimited sites. Yearly billing is about 25% cheaper, and a Lifetime Access deal at $249 one-off includes the Connect features. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card needed, and clients never pay or create an account.
