Overview
Common Ninja's Team Members Blobs widget presents your team as a set of profile cards with photos set inside organic blob shapes, a softer and more playful alternative to a standard grid of headshots.
What it does
- Team profiles with photo, name, role and short bio
- Blob-shaped image masks with colour options
- Social or contact links per person
- Built in Common Ninja's editor and embedded with a code block
Who it suits
Creative studios, schools, charities and small agencies whose brand suits a friendlier look on the about or team page.
Honest caveats
Squarespace's native image and text blocks, or a summary of a team collection, can cover a basic team page without a widget. The free plan has usage limits and paid plans are billed yearly per widget, from $24 a year. It needs a Squarespace Core plan or higher.
Consider Team Members Blobs Widget when interface components inside Squarespace pages needs to feel intentional. Common Ninja describes the plugin for site owners adding buttons, tabs, accordions, and micro-UI, emphasizing accordions and tabs, calls to action, and consistent styling with your theme.
Implementation-wise, you’re still working with Squarespace’s native structure—this is positioned as an extension of the editor, not a parallel stack.
If your site mixes ui components patterns with other add-ons, skim Common Ninja’s documentation for known interactions and version support.

Worth a look when accordions and tabs and calls to action are on your roadmap and you want consistent styling with your theme without leaving Squarespace 7.1.
