What Atelier is

Atelier is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Avelã Creative, a branding and web design studio, built for interior designers who want a calm, editorial, portfolio-first site. The demo is a London interiors practice with projects like a Mayfair penthouse and a Hampstead residence, thin serif headings, a warm neutral palette and long image-led sections with slow scrolling reveals. The vendor also names architects, stylists, photographers, furniture stores, design studios and agencies as good fits.

The pages and sections you get

Thirteen pages: Home, About, Services, Work, Shop, Blog and Contact in the main navigation, with Links, Coming Soon, Newsletter, 404, Legal and FAQs in an Extra folder. The home page runs a full-bleed hero slider, a short philosophy statement, three selected projects, a numbered services overview, a testimonial slider, a studio introduction and a work-with-us call to action. Work is a portfolio index with four different project layouts to choose from, Services lists three offers with bullet-point deliverables and a numbered process, and the Shop and Blog pages are styled and ready for products and posts.

Who it suits

An interior designer, architect or design studio with strong project photography and a small menu of services. The four portfolio layouts are the reason to pick it over a generic template: you can present a full residence as a long case study and a smaller job as a simple gallery without the two looking mismatched. Furniture makers and stylists get the Shop page as a bonus.

One honest caveat

Atelier is priced in euros on the vendor's site and the standard purchase is a single-site licence; designers who want to reuse it pay for the unlimited licence add-on. Template customisation, content upload and SEO are not included, and the process section of the demo's Services page is still placeholder text, so budget writing time. Selling from the Shop page needs a Squarespace plan with Commerce, and the vendor recommends Core or Plus.

Setup

After checkout you get a PDF guide and, within 24 to 48 hours, a contributor invitation to the pre-built site, which is then transferred to your Squarespace account with an extended 12-month trial. You customise colours, fonts and content in the native editor, then pick a plan and connect a domain; annual plans come with 25 percent off the first year and a free domain. Extended support for a month is a paid add-on and there are no refunds.
