Overview
Podcast Player from Elfsight displays episodes from your podcast RSS feed on a Squarespace page, with a playlist visitors can browse and playback controls. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. You set it up in Elfsight's online editor, where you can choose an inline or floating display, adjust colours or select a light or dark theme, and control whether episode titles, authors, durations and cover art appear. You can also set autoplay and choose whether the playlist is shown. The player reads episodes from the RSS feed you provide, so new episodes can appear in the player when they become available in that feed.
Who it suits
This suits podcasters, publishers and businesses that want visitors to listen to episodes without leaving their Squarespace site. It is also useful when you want to show a browsable playlist or adjust the player details and colours to suit your page. A free plan is available to start with.
One honest caveat
The player depends on the podcast RSS feed you add, so it needs a usable feed to display episodes. Autoplay can be enabled, but whether playback starts automatically depends on browser policies. On the free plan, widgets carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The widget stops showing if your Elfsight account lapses.
Installation
Build and customise the player in Elfsight's online editor, add your RSS feed, then copy the embed code. For an inline player, paste it into a Squarespace Code Block. For a floating player, the vendor describes adding the code through Squarespace's site-wide code injection settings.

In Elfsight's editor, you can choose an inline player within a page or a floating version that follows visitors as they browse. You can show or hide the playlist, set autoplay, and select a light or dark theme. The editor also lets you adjust colours and control which episode details are visible.
For an inline placement, add the embed code to a Code Block on the relevant Squarespace page. The vendor's floating-player instructions instead use Squarespace's site-wide code injection settings. After installation, the player appears on your site while its settings remain managed through Elfsight's editor.
This is a third-party, hosted widget rather than native Squarespace code. The free plan includes Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The widget relies on your Elfsight account remaining active, and playback may not start automatically in browsers that restrict autoplay. Check that your podcast RSS feed is available and contains the episodes you want to display.
