Sofia Luca

Sofia Luca is a one-page Squarespace 7.1 template by The Creatives, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for couples who want a wedding website that reads like a printed invitation. The vendor describes soft Tuscan-inspired colours, classic serif type and a clean layout, with sections for the love story, event details, travel information and an RSVP. It is a guest-facing wedding site for one event, not a portfolio for wedding suppliers, and the old listing was broadly right about that; it just leaned on hype rather than telling you what is on the page.

What you get

• One page layout with love story, event details, travel information and RSVP sections, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
• Anchor navigation so guests scroll to the section they need rather than hunting through pages
• An RSVP built on a Squarespace form block, so responses land in your inbox or a connected sheet
• A green, white, neutral and black palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
• SquareKicker scroll effects and animation settings, editable while the extension is active
• A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial

Who it suits

Couples planning a romantic or destination wedding who want one elegant page with the story, the schedule, how to get there, where to stay and a way to RSVP. It also suits wedding planners and stationers who build guest sites for clients and want a repeatable base. Because it is one page, it is quick to fill and quick to retire after the day.

Honest limits

It is one page only: a multi-day celebration with separate events, a registry, a photo gallery after the wedding and a password for guests all need adding, though Squarespace handles page passwords and galleries natively. The RSVP is a form, not a guest list manager, so meal choices and plus-ones are fields you set up and track yourself. The Tuscan palette and serif type are the look; a modern or minimal wedding will be changing more than colours. The scroll effects are SquareKicker features that stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.
