SquareDonations adds fundraising widgets to Squarespace donation pages: a live progress bar towards your goal, a recent donations feed, a top donors leaderboard, live donor notifications and a floating donate button. It is made by StarterPlugins (Greengo Development Ltd) and is managed from a campaign dashboard where each campaign gets its own goal, colours and set of widgets.
What you get
- A live progress bar towards a campaign goal, in linear, circular gauge or graphical styles
- Recent donations feed, top donors leaderboard and live donor notifications
- A floating donate button and a multi-step donation form widget (one-off or monthly, preset or custom amounts, optional fee cover)
- Multiple campaigns, each with its own goal, colours and widgets
- Donor sync to Mailchimp and Zapier triggers for your own workflows
Who it suits
Charities, nonprofits, churches, schools and community projects running appeals with a clear target. Alumni and scholarship campaigns are a natural fit for the progress bar and leaderboard.
Honest limits
StarterPlugins describes SquareDonations as working alongside Squarespace's own Donation Block with no cut of donations, while the SquareDonations site also shows its own donation form and donor login. Confirm which payment route your plan uses and what fees apply before you launch an appeal. At the time of listing (October 2026) the squaredonations.com SSL certificate had expired, so browsers show a security warning on the vendor site; our link goes via StarterPlugins instead. It is a monthly subscription, which matters for small charities on tight budgets.
Pricing and setup
Basic is $17 a month and Advanced is $29 a month, with a 14-day free trial. Setup is no code: connect your Squarespace site, create a campaign and add the widgets you want.
