Overview
Team Showcase from Elfsight displays team profiles on a Squarespace page, with photos, names, job titles and details about each person. Visitors can open a profile popup to see more information, including contact details, social links and a personal message. This is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, rather than native Squarespace code. You build and customise it in Elfsight's online editor, where you can add team members, organise them into groups, choose a grid, cards, gallery or list layout, and adjust interface colours. Groups can appear together in a list or be selected through a menu. Once added to your page, the widget gives visitors a browsable introduction to the people behind your organisation.
Who it suits
This widget suits businesses, organisations and teams that want to introduce their people, share contact information or arrange profiles by department, location or another group. It can also be used for sports teams or academic staff. A free plan is available to start with.
One honest caveat
Team Showcase offers four layouts: grid, cards, gallery and list. Groups can be shown together or through a menu, so the display options are based on these formats. Profile photos and contact details need to be added and maintained in Elfsight's editor, and visitors may see information you choose to make available. Free-tier widgets carry Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The widget stops showing if your Elfsight account lapses.
Installation
Build and customise Team Showcase in Elfsight's online editor, then copy the embed code it generates. In Squarespace, add a Code Block where you want the team profiles to appear and paste in the code. Later changes made in the Elfsight editor update automatically on the embedded widget.
