Tuckers Grill is a Squarespace 7.1 template sold through the SquareKicker template store and designed by Nikki Butler of Lit Path Co. It is a casual bar and grill template, and the demo is Tucker's Bar and Grill: a Timeless Bar and Grill hero, a welcome note, a Make a Reservation panel, a contact strip, a Food and Drink teaser and a newsletter signup, with an Order Online button in the header. It is smaller and more practical than the SquareKicker restaurant templates that lead with chef stories, and for a neighbourhood grill that is the right call.

What you get

  • Eight page layouts: Home, Our Story, Menu, Reservations, Contact, Job Application, Privacy Policy and a styled Custom 404
  • Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine, so sections are drag and drop in the standard editor
  • A Menu page built on the Squarespace menu block (snacks and salads, sandwiches and so on) so dishes and prices are editable text, with Order Online and Make a Reservation prompts
  • A Reservations page with a phone-to-book note and a large party request form, and an Our Story page with a meet-our-namesake section and a join-the-team prompt
  • A Job Application page with a form, and a newsletter block in every footer
  • A brown, neutral and white palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor

Who it suits

Bar and grills, sports bars, diners, pubs and family restaurants that need a menu, hours, a way to book and a way to hire, and not much else. The jobs page is the sleeper feature: most small restaurants end up posting vacancies on social because their site cannot take an application.

Honest limits

Reservations are a phone number and a large-party request form, not a live booking widget; if you want tables booked online you embed OpenTable, Resy or similar. Order Online is a button you point at your ordering provider, not an ordering system. There is no gallery page, no events page and no blog in the layout, and the menu copy is lorem ipsum, so every dish description is yours to write. Eight pages keeps it manageable, but a venue with live nights or a big drinks programme will outgrow it.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site the moment you buy, with a choice of Use Template Styles or Keep Existing Styles, so it can go onto a live site without wiping your fonts and colours. It is a one-off purchase for one site (a new licence per client project), no SquareKicker subscription is needed to keep using it, and a 30-day trial of the SquareKicker Extension and 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan are included. You need a Business or Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker does not refund digital products.

FAQs

FAQs

Who is Tuckers Grill designed for?
Nikki Butler of Lit Path Co built it for a casual bar and grill. The demo is Tucker's Bar and Grill with a menu, reservations, an our story page and a jobs page, so it suits sports bars, diners, pubs and family restaurants.
What pages are included?
Eight layouts: Home, Our Story, Menu, Reservations, Contact, Job Application, Privacy Policy and a Custom 404 page, all on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine.
Does it take reservations online?
Not on its own. The Reservations page has a phone-to-book note and a large party request form. For live table booking you embed OpenTable, Resy or a similar widget.
How does Order Online work?
It is a header button you point at your ordering provider (Toast, Square, ChowNow or similar). The template does not include an ordering system.
How is the menu built?
On the Squarespace menu block, so categories, dishes and prices are editable text rather than a PDF. The demo descriptions are placeholder text.
Do I need a SquareKicker subscription?
No. It is a one-off purchase that installs instantly onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site, with a 30-day SquareKicker Extension trial and 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan. You need a Business or Core plan or higher to publish.
