Overview
Yelp Reviews from Elfsight lets you display Yelp customer reviews on a Squarespace page, with reviewer details and links to your Yelp profile. It is an embeddable widget hosted on Elfsight's platform, not native Squarespace code. Build and adjust it in Elfsight's online editor: choose List, Grid, Masonry or Slider, set which reviews appear using type, keyword exclusion and quantity filters, and switch the header on or off. You can also adjust colours and fonts, choose whether to show a review request button, and configure what visitors see if they decline. Reviews refresh automatically about every 72 hours. The AI Summary Card can show a short overview of recurring feedback.
Who it suits
This suits businesses with a Yelp profile that want to show customer feedback on a Squarespace page, including businesses where visitors may be weighing up food quality or service. It is also useful if you want a button that sends visitors to Yelp to leave a review. A free plan is available to start with.
One honest caveat
Reviews are synchronised approximately every 72 hours, so new feedback will not appear instantly. The review request button directs visitors to Yelp rather than collecting reviews on your Squarespace site. The free tier carries Elfsight branding and monthly view limits; paid plans remove those. The widget stops showing if your Elfsight account lapses.
Installation
Build the widget in Elfsight's online editor, choose a layout and adjust its review and display settings. Copy the embed code generated by Elfsight, then paste it into a Code Block on the Squarespace page where you want the reviews to appear. Later edits in the editor update automatically.
