What Begonia is

Begonia is a premium Squarespace 7.1 template designed by Square Design and sold through the SquareKicker template store. It is built for florists, flower shops and flower delivery businesses, with a warm editorial look and a set of ten page layouts and 22 sections you install straight into a Squarespace site through the SquareKicker Template Engine. The old listing on this page described it as a five page shop template with a product showcase; the real template is a content led florist site (home, about, services, commitments, journal and contact in the demo) with no dedicated shop page layout in the pack.

What it does

The pack includes ten pre-built page layouts (two about layouts, services, gallery, blog, news, updates, contact, home, two legal pages and a 404) and 22 sections covering hero, quote, about, FAQ, gallery, people, services, contact, legal and footer. Because it installs through SquareKicker rather than a duplicated site, you can add any of those pages or sections to a new or existing 7.1 site and mix them freely. It ships with SquareKicker animations: footer reveal, scroll effects, layered elements, a custom link cursor and sticky blocks. On install you choose whether to adopt the template's site styles or keep your own, which makes it usable on a live site that already has a brand set up. The purchase also includes a free 30 day SquareKicker Extension trial and a 10 per cent Squarespace plan discount.

Who it suits

Florists and small flower businesses who want a considered, image heavy brochure site with a journal, and designers building for that market who want a modular starting point rather than a locked demo. It is at the premium end of SquareKicker's price bands, so it makes most sense when you value the animation layer and the section library rather than just a homepage.

One honest caveat

There is no shop page layout in the pack. If you sell bouquets online you will be adding Squarespace Commerce pages yourself and styling them to match, and the SquareKicker animations that make the demo feel alive depend on the SquareKicker Extension for any further edits once the 30 day trial ends. You also cannot install it on a Squarespace 7.0 site.

Setup

You need a Squarespace 7.1 site on the Business (now Core) plan or higher, or an active free trial. Install is a few clicks from the SquareKicker store: connect the site, pick Use Template Styles or Keep Existing Styles, then add pages and sections from the template panel. The licence is a one off purchase for a single site with no subscription required to keep using the design.
