What Bento is

Bento is a multipurpose Squarespace 7.1 Fluid Engine template by Applet Studio with a clean, modern, editorial look. The old listing on this site called it an event management template with registration pages, which it is not: the demo is a therapy practice, and Applet Studio says the layouts were designed for therapists, coaches and experts and adapt to any service business. Applet Studio has sold more than 2,000 template installs, and its listing carries several hundred reviews.

The pages and sections you get

Applet Studio counts nine pre-made pages: Home, About, All Services, an Individual Service page, a Portfolio with an all-cases index and a single case study, Blog, Contact, Careers with a Vacancies page, plus an Elements page and Terms. The demo navigation shows Home, About, All Services, Individual Therapy, How it works, Blog, Contact and a Book Now button. The home page runs a hero with a booking button, an introduction, a four-tile services grid, a founder profile, a stats strip, testimonials, a who-we-serve section, a three-step online sessions block, recent articles and a closing call to action. How it works pairs a four-step process with an FAQ, the Individual Service page sets out an approach in four principles with a free consultation prompt, and Book Now is an enquiry form with a newsletter sign-up.

Who it suits

A therapist, counsellor, coach, consultant or any practitioner who sells sessions rather than products. The All Services plus Individual Service pairing gives you an index page and a deep-dive page for each offer, and the How it works page is the piece most service sites forget to build.

One honest caveat

The demo's testimonials are placeholder text from other Applet Studio demos, so treat every section as a layout to fill rather than copy to keep. Book Now is a form, not a scheduler; you would connect Acuity or another booking tool yourself. The licence is one purchase per site, installing into an existing site is a paid add-on that overwrites your styles, and there are no returns. The vendor also lists a lower sale price against the regular price, so check the live listing.

Setup

Applet Studio builds a new site with the demo content and transfers ownership to your account in under 24 hours as a 12-month trial, or installs the template into an existing paid site within about 48 hours as a checkout add-on. It works on a Personal plan and up, and the purchase includes walkthrough videos, the Easy Squarespace restyle mini-course, CSS documentation, email support and 25 percent off an annual Squarespace plan. A paid template restyle service is available if you would rather not customise it yourself.
