Cove

Cove is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Studio Mesa, designed, in the designer's words, the way a modern church actually operates online. The demo covers weekend services, watch online, messages, giving, kids, youth, young adults, city groups, a cafe, a conference, events and careers. We list it among nonprofit templates because churches are a large part of that audience, but it is a church template first.

Who it suits

Medium and larger churches with several ministries and a weekly rhythm of services, groups and events, and a staff member or volunteer who will keep the messages archive and events current. It is less suitable for a small congregation with one service and no online stream, who would leave most of the structure empty.

One honest caveat

Because every page assumes church vocabulary, a secular charity would be better served by Venture or Retrograde from the same studio. Online giving uses Squarespace's donation block, which needs a Core plan or higher (Business or Commerce on older plans) and a connected Stripe or PayPal account, and there is no Gift Aid workflow. Watch Online depends on you embedding your own stream or video platform.

What is included

The demo shows Home, About, Weekend Services, Watch Online, Messages, Worship, Kids, Youth, Young Adults, City Groups, Cafe, Conference, Events, Give, Careers and Contact. Sections include a hero, welcome, service times, ministry cards, upcoming events and give calls to action. Studio Mesa deliver instantly to your Squarespace account with lifetime email support and a seven-day refund window.
