Embody

Embody is a one-page coaching website template by GoLive, built on Squarespace 7.1 and, in their words, intentionally designed as a simple one-page site so a coach can get online fast, share offers and start building an email list. The demo is Embody Coaching, an online business coach's site, and everything a visitor needs sits on one scroll with a separate consultation booking page. It is not the multi-page portfolio template older listings described.

Who it suits

Business, life and health coaches, consultants and course creators who sell two or three offers and want a site up this week. The single scroll is arranged as a sales page: credibility, problem, story, offers, proof, call to action. It also works as a launch page for someone whose full site will come later.

Honest limits

It is one page. There is no blog, podcast, shop or member area, and one page means one set of SEO metadata, so it will not rank for several separate services. The email sign-up and resources sections need Squarespace Email Campaigns or a third-party tool to deliver anything. The demo copy is written for an online business coach with impressive numbers; if your practice is new, the impact statistics block will need rethinking rather than filling in. GoLive's main site page for Embody is under a different URL from their checkout page, which confuses search.

How it is delivered

Within 24 hours of purchase GoLive send a contributor invite to a new Squarespace trial site with Embody installed. If you already have a Squarespace 7.1 site they can install the page into it as a paid add-on. You customise fonts, colours, images and text, then subscribe to a plan when you are ready to publish.
