Squarespace galleries always display images in the same fixed order, which means the photos at the bottom rarely get seen. This $19 plugin from SQSPThemes shuffles your gallery into a random order on every page load, so returning visitors see a fresh arrangement and every image gets its turn at the top. You can randomize every gallery on the site or only the blocks you choose, and there is an option to limit how many items show initially. It supports Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1 gallery blocks (gallery sections are not supported), and the vendor is clear about layout compatibility: grid, masonry and simple list galleries work fully, slideshows have limited support, and carousels are not recommended. Setup is copy-and-paste with a video walkthrough.
You get sensible controls rather than a blunt shuffle. Randomization can apply to every gallery on the site or only to specific blocks you select, and you can limit the number of items shown initially, which is handy for a homepage teaser that pulls a fresh sample from a larger collection each visit.
