Little Sprouts

Little Sprouts is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Emily Kay, sold through the SquareKicker template store. The designer lists it for baby and kids, education and professional services websites, and the demo is set up as a daycare centre with a curriculum page, a book-a-visit page and an FAQ. We include it in the nonprofit collection because community playgroups, preschools and family charities share that shape.

Who it suits

Nurseries, preschools, community childcare, parent and toddler groups and family-focused charities that need to explain what they offer, answer parents' questions and invite them to visit. The friendly styling suits organisations working with children; a policy charity or professional body would need to restyle it heavily.

One honest caveat

Little Sprouts installs through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a Squarespace 7.1 site, and its animations (smooth scroll, scroll effects, layered blocks, anchor links) are SquareKicker features. The template purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker trial, but editing or extending those design and animation settings after the trial needs a SquareKicker subscription. There is no donate page in the demo, so a charity will add Squarespace's donation block (Core plan or higher, or Business or Commerce on older plans).
