Madeline

Madeline is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Olíve Skye Creative, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for interior designers, architects and creative studios. The demo is a Miami interior design studio: a purpose-and-care statement hero, a custom-approach section, a featured-projects grid, a get-to-know-the-founder block and a partner-with-us footer with newsletter sign-up, with a six-project Projects page, a Services page (discovery, design development, project management, installation and styling, plus interior design, project management and home staging offers, testimonials and FAQ accordions), an About page with a three-person team and studio values, a Gallery page, a Featured press page, an Inquire page with a project enquiry form, an Individual Project template page and a Testimonials page. The old listing had the audience right but counted four pages and missed the services process, press, gallery and enquiry form.

Who it suits

Interior designers, architecture practices, home stagers and design studios with a body of finished projects, press to show and a process to explain. The restrained type and long-scroll layouts also suit a landscape designer or a high-end builder.

Honest limits

Projects are hand-built pages rather than a filterable portfolio collection, so each new job means duplicating the Individual Project page. There is no blog in the demo and no shop. The enquiry form emails you; there is no scheduling without embedding Acuity or Calendly. This template leans on ten SquareKicker animation presets, more than most, so the feel depends on the extension: the effects stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing, and it is worth checking them on a mid-range phone.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.
