Maya Jones is a Squarespace 7.1 template by GoLive built for speakers and coaches who host a podcast. The demo is a podcaster and thought leader: a playful hero with a one-line promise, a scrolling in-action strip with a speaking reel, a benefit-led problem section, a meet-me introduction, a podcast prompt and a group coaching pitch. It is a personal brand site with a podcast at its centre, not the video and multimedia portfolio older listings described; there is no gallery or video page.
What you get
- Nine pages: Home, About, Podcast, Podcast Episode, Group Coaching, Speaking, Meeting Planner Resources, Testimonials and Contact
- Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine, so sections are drag and drop in the standard editor
- A Podcast Episode layout so each episode has its own page with player, notes and links
- A Meeting Planner Resources page for organisers, and a Group Coaching page laid out as a sales page
- An orange, green, blue and neutral palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor, no code needed
- A contact form and newsletter sign-up, plus GoLive's free five-day customisation course, customer community and unlimited email and Loom support
Who it suits
Podcast hosts who also speak and run a group programme, and coaches whose podcast is the top of the funnel. The tone is playful and colourful, with emoji-style flourishes in the demo, so it fits a warm personal brand better than a corporate one. Avery Knox swaps the coaching for a membership, and Evans drops the podcast for consulting.
Honest limits
There is no blog, course, shop or booking calendar; episode pages carry the content and the contact form carries enquiries. The Group Coaching page sells but does not deliver, so a members area means adding a Squarespace member site on a plan that supports digital products. The playful styling is a personality to keep or undo, and a serious brand will change layout as well as colour. GoLive's sales pages are templated, so judge the template from its demo rather than the sales copy.
How it is delivered
Within 24 hours of purchase GoLive send a contributor invite to a new Squarespace trial site with Maya Jones installed. If you already have a Squarespace 7.1 site they can install the pages into it as a paid add-on. You customise fonts, colours, images and text in the standard editor, then subscribe to a plan when you are ready to publish. GoLive customers get an extended six-month Squarespace trial and 20 per cent off the first year of an annual plan.
