Michi Squarespace 7.1 Template

Who Michi is built for

Michi is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Big Cat Creative for bloggers and influencers who earn through collaborations. The demo is a lifestyle and skincare blogger with a "work with me" page listing Instagram collaborations, blog features and product reviews, plus a recent collabs block and a free checklist. The old listing described Michi as a template for marketing professionals building high-converting landing pages; the vendor's own words are "a refined and contemporary blog website", and that is exactly what the demo is.

The pages and sections you get

The seven pages are Home, About, Blog, Our Work (a portfolio index), Info, Work With Me and Contact Me. The home page runs a welcome hero, a recent posts summary from the blog, a personal introduction, a "let's collab" section, a work with me teaser, recent collaborations, a follow along block, a free checklist signup and an Instagram-style gallery. Work With Me lists the collaboration types with featured examples; Info is a single-offer page with what's included and an FAQ accordion; the Blog is the heart of the site and works out of the box. There is no shop in the base build. Matching shop, sales page, podcast, freebie and link page layouts exist, but they are sold separately as add-ons; the demo site carries them off the main navigation.

Design and customisation notes

Michi is built on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine sections, so every layout is edited with the native drag and drop editor and site styles panel; there is no plugin or code to maintain. Big Cat Creative publishes reworked demos of the same template (Michi Bold, Michi Classic, Michi Neutral) to show how far the colours, fonts and imagery can be pushed, which I find a more honest demonstration of flexibility than a list of adjectives. Purchase includes delivery within 48 hours as a new site or an install into your existing 7.1 site, step by step video tutorials, a Squarespace resource library, editable Canva graphics, a copywriting workbook with AI prompts, an SEO checklist and a launch guide. Michi is minimalist and contemporary with lots of white space, small caps labels and a restrained palette; the Bold and Classic variants show it with more colour and with a more traditional serif feel.

One honest caveat

Michi is blog-first, which means it lives or dies on regular posts. If you publish rarely, the recent posts summary on the home page will look stale within weeks. The Our Work page is a simple portfolio index rather than a media kit, so if brands expect audience figures and rates you will need to build that page yourself or attach a PDF.
