Nashville is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Balogun Strategy & Design, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for bands and singer-songwriters who need a small, quick site. The demo is a three-piece Americana band called The Heartland Echoes: a full-width hero, an about-the-band section, a Tour Dates list, an Our Music section, a follow-our-journey gallery and a booking-contact footer, plus a single About Us page with the band story and a listen-to-our-music prompt. The old listing promised an integrated music player, an events calendar and a Shop page across five pages; the real template is two pages with nine sections and no shop or player.

What you get

  • Two page layouts: a long-scrolling Home and an About Us page, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
  • Nine featured sections: hero, people, gallery, events, contact and footer, plus the about and music blocks from the home page
  • A Tour Dates section laid out as a dated list with venue lines you edit by hand
  • SquareKicker scroll effects, editable while the extension is active
  • A dark green, cream, yellow and neutral palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
  • A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial

Who it suits

Bands, duos, solo artists and singer-songwriters who want a one-evening site with tour dates, a music section and a booking email, and who already host their music on Spotify, Bandcamp or YouTube. It also works as a landing page for a tribute act or a wedding band.

Honest limits

There is no embedded music player in the demo: the Our Music section is artwork and buttons you point at your streaming links, or you add an embed block. Tour dates are typed in, not pulled from Bandsintown or Songkick, and there is no ticketing. No shop, no mailing list sign-up and no blog without adding them. Two pages is deliberately lean, so a label or an artist with several projects will outgrow it. The scroll effects are SquareKicker features that stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.
