Nixin

Nixin is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Vative Creative, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built as a bold one-page site for an architecture or design practice. The demo is Nixin Architecture: a full-width hero, an about-us block, a where-vision-meets-reality services section, a horizontal-scrolling project strip (a residence, a plaza, a tower), an innovative-architecture and enduring-quality pair, an awards section, an our-vision statement, client testimonials and a contact section with office address, phone and email. The old listing described a technology-startup template, which it is not: the vendor files it under art and design, interior design and real estate, and the demo is an architecture firm.

What you get

• One page layout with eighteen sections, including hero, informational, services, gallery, reviews, contact and footer, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
• A horizontal-scrolling project showcase and an awards section that suits studios with a short list of flagship work
• Services, vision, testimonials and contact blocks on one scroll, with anchor navigation
• A white, lime green, light grey and dark grey palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
• SquareKicker horizontal scrolling and scroll effects, editable while the extension is active
• A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial

Who it suits

Architecture practices, interior designers, landscape and property-development studios that want a single striking page rather than a project archive. With new imagery it works for an engineering consultancy or a construction firm, and Vative pitches it at any business wanting a strong one-page impression.

Honest limits

One page means no project pages: three flagship projects on a strip is the showcase, and a practice with a deep portfolio will want to add Squarespace portfolio pages. No blog, no news page and no team page. The contact section is a form, so add a map block if you want one. The horizontal scrolling is a SquareKicker feature that stays in place after the 30-day trial but needs a subscription to keep editing.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.
