Nova Squarespace 7.1 Template

Who Nova is built for

Nova is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Big Cat Creative for coaches, course sellers and creative entrepreneurs who sell offers rather than hours. The demo is a creative business coach with a blog and podcast, packaged programmes and a free download, and the vendor lists small businesses, service providers, coaches, bloggers and creatives as the audience. The old listing described Nova as a template for media professionals and podcasters showcasing videos; the podcast page is actually a separate add-on, and the base template is a coaching and offers site.

The pages and sections you get

The seven designed pages in the demo are Home, About, Offers, Info, Blog, Portfolio and a Work With Me contact page. The home page runs a hero with a short business intro, a personal introduction, a coaching statement, a blog and podcast promo, three offer cards, three testimonials, a free guide signup and an Instagram-style gallery. Offers lists each programme with testimonials and an FAQ accordion; Info is a single-offer sales page with reasons to join, a featured client and questions; Portfolio doubles as a case study index and the Blog works out of the box. There is no shop in the base build. Matching shop, sales page, podcast, freebie and link page layouts exist, but they are sold separately as add-ons; the demo site carries them off the main navigation.

Design and customisation notes

Nova is built on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine sections, so every layout is edited with the native drag and drop editor and site styles panel; there is no plugin or code to maintain. Big Cat Creative publishes reworked demos of the same template (Nova Bold, Nova Dark, Nova Neutral) to show how far the colours, fonts and imagery can be pushed, which I find a more honest demonstration of flexibility than a list of adjectives. Purchase includes delivery within 48 hours as a new site or an install into your existing 7.1 site, step by step video tutorials, a Squarespace resource library, editable Canva graphics, a copywriting workbook with AI prompts, an SEO checklist and a launch guide. Nova is the bright, playful one with layered graphics, bold colour blocks and chunky rounded shapes; the Neutral variant calms it down a lot if you want the layout without the party.

One honest caveat

Nova gives you sales pages but no way to take payment or deliver a course. Selling a programme still means adding Squarespace Commerce, Member Areas or Courses, or linking out to a platform such as Kajabi, and the podcast and shop layouts in the demo are paid add-ons rather than part of the seven pages.
