Penny is a Squarespace 7.1 template by GoLive built for service-based businesses, marketed by GoLive as a digital marketing website template. The demo is a soft, feminine service site in white and blush with black type: a home page that introduces the business, previews the services, shows four projects and ends with a free guide download, backed by an about page, a services page with an FAQ, a portfolio, a freebies page for lead magnets, a blog and a contact form. It is a service and lead capture site, not the analytics and campaign tool older listings described.

Who it suits

The Freebies page suits anyone who grows an email list before selling. Against GoLive's corporate template for firms, Penny is warmer and more personal; that one is the team-led alternative with case studies.

Honest limits

There is no shop, so selling templates or digital products needs a Commerce page and plan, and no booking page. Email capture blocks connect to Squarespace Email Campaigns or Mailchimp, but lead magnet delivery is something you set up. The feminine styling is the point, so a neutral brand will restyle more than colours. GoLive's sales pages use the same template for every product, so judge Penny from its demo rather than the sales copy.

How it is delivered

Within 24 hours of purchase GoLive send a contributor invite to a new Squarespace trial site with Penny installed. If you already have a Squarespace 7.1 site they can install the pages into it as a paid add-on. You customise fonts, colours, images and text, then subscribe to a plan when you are ready to publish.
