Photographer Portfolio is a Squarespace 7.1 template from Kseniia Krasilich, a designer who sells a range of industry-specific Squarespace templates. This one is built for a working photographer rather than a bare gallery: the demo site, Amelia Photography, uses large imagery, asymmetric layouts and overlapping photographs in a warm, neutral palette, and the page set carries a visitor from first look to enquiry. The old listing on this page described a four page minimalist portfolio; the vendor lists eight pages, including services and pricing, client stories and a link-in-bio page, so I have rewritten it from the vendor page.

What it does

The pages included are Home, About, Portfolio, Blog, Contact, Services and Investment, Client Stories and a Link in Bio landing page for Instagram, and you can add or remove pages as you like. That is the structure of a photography business site: the Portfolio shows the work, Services and Investment sets expectations on packages and price, Client Stories carries testimonials and real weddings or sessions, the Blog gives you somewhere to publish galleries for search, and the link-in-bio page keeps Instagram traffic on your own domain. It is built on Fluid Engine, so every section is drag and drop, and the purchase includes a template-specific course with video tutorials walking through customisation, plus email and Loom support for three months. Some of Kseniia's templates use Canva graphics, and the editable Canva files are supplied.

Who it suits

Wedding, portrait, family, brand and lifestyle photographers who book through enquiries and want a services page with pricing rather than a grid and a contact form. It also suits photographers who intend to blog their sessions for SEO, since the blog and client stories pages are already designed. Fine art photographers selling prints will need to add a shop, which Squarespace supports but the demo does not include.

One honest caveat

The design depends on strong, consistent photography; the overlapping and asymmetric layouts look empty or messy with a thin or mismatched portfolio. Delivery is as a new Squarespace trial site invited to your account within 24 hours, not a theme you apply to an existing site; installing it on a site you already have is a separately priced add-on with a 24 to 48 hour turnaround. The licence is one purchase per website, digital products are non-refundable, and the demo is password protected, so preview it through the vendor page before buying.

Setup

After purchase you receive a contributor invite within 24 hours to a new Squarespace 7.1 trial with the template installed, along with the video course. Work through it to swap fonts, colours, images and copy, edit the Canva graphics if your template uses them, then subscribe to a Squarespace plan when you are ready to launch. Kseniia includes an extended six month trial and a discount on the first year of an annual Squarespace subscription. Expect a few hours for the customisation and longer to fill the portfolio and blog with your own work.
