Pivot is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Jen Maher Consulting, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for virtual assistant agencies and small operations-support teams. The demo is a VA company run by a founder called Mandy: a business-is-a-continuous-pivot hero, an introduction, a why-us section (tailored solutions, cost-effective, efficiency), a contact prompt, a Services page, a Workshops page selling a monthly DIY Pivot workshop with an RSVP form, an Our Team page and a Contact Us page. The old listing had the audience roughly right but described a technology and digital-design agency site with a portfolio, which the demo does not have; it is a five-page VA agency site with a team page and a workshop page.

What you get

  • Five page layouts: Home, Services, Workshops, Our Team and Contact Us, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
  • A Workshops (events) page with upcoming dates and an RSVP form, and a people page for the team
  • Services, reviews and contact sections with location and hours in the footer
  • A rose pink, cream and navy palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
  • SquareKicker scroll effects and a sticky split, editable while the extension is active
  • A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial

Who it suits

Virtual assistant agencies, online business managers, bookkeeping and admin-support firms, and any small service team that sells packages and runs the occasional paid workshop. The vendor also names digital design agencies; without a portfolio page that is a stretch unless you add one.

Honest limits

Five pages is lean: there is no About page separate from the team page, no blog and no portfolio. The workshop RSVP is a form; to take payment for a seat you add Squarespace commerce or a payment link, and for scheduling calls you embed Acuity or Calendly. The footer has placeholder hours and address to replace. The scroll effects and sticky split are SquareKicker features that stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing.

How it is delivered

SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.

FAQs

FAQs

Who is Pivot designed for?
Jen Maher Consulting built it for virtual assistant agencies and small support teams. The demo is a VA company with services, a paid monthly workshop, a team page and a contact page.
What pages are included?
Five layouts: Home, Services, Workshops, Our Team and Contact Us, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine.
Is there a portfolio page?
No. The old listing mentioned one, but the demo has no portfolio. Add a Squarespace portfolio page if you need to show work.
Can people pay for a workshop seat on the site?
The Workshops page has an RSVP form. To take payment, add Squarespace commerce or a payment link.
Do I need a SquareKicker subscription to use the template?
No. The template is a one-off purchase and it comes with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial. The scroll effects and sticky split are SquareKicker features, so to keep editing them after the trial you need a SquareKicker subscription; the styling itself stays on the site. You do need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish.
How is the template installed?
Through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site, in a few clicks, keeping or replacing your existing site styles.
