Revel

Revel is a free Squarespace 7.1 template built as a website for an event planning business, not an event registration or conference site. The demo is a small events company that plans weddings, dinner parties, galas and corporate gatherings, and the nav is a classic three-page service layout: About, Services and Contact. The homepage opens with a full-width hero and a Plan Your Event button, moves into an introduction, lists the company's event experiences (theme and concept development, event marketing and promotion, and so on), closes with a Ready to Bring Your Vision to Life call to action and a Subscribe newsletter form. Services carries the full offering plus four client testimonials, About introduces the team with three staff profiles, and Contact is a form page. It is one of the more complete service-business layouts among the free Squarespace templates.

Who it suits

Event planners, wedding coordinators, caterers, florists and any small service business where the sale happens through an enquiry form rather than a cart. The testimonial section and team profiles are exactly what a bookings-led business needs on day one.

One honest caveat

There is no gallery or portfolio page in the demo, which is odd for a business that sells on how its events look, so you will be adding one. The copy is placeholder text throughout, there is no custom code, and the dark, image-heavy design needs genuinely good event photography to work.

Setting it up

Choose Revel in Squarespace's template picker or start from the demo, swap the hero and section images for your own events, rewrite the services and testimonials, and point the Plan Your Event buttons at your contact form. Every section is built with Fluid Engine, so adding a gallery page or rearranging the homepage is drag and drop rather than code.
