Revival is a Squarespace 7.1 template by GoLive built for hair and beauty salons. The demo is a salon site with services grouped into cut and style, colour and extensions, a team page for the stylists, a portfolio of finished work, a small product shop and an appointment request page. It is not a fashion lookbook template: the lookbook pages older listings described do not exist in it.
What you get
- Six pages: Home, Services, Team, Portfolio, Shop and Contact (titled Appointment in the demo, with a booking request form)
- Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine, so sections are drag and drop in the standard editor
- A Services page with three service groups and client testimonials, a Team page with a card for each stylist, and a Portfolio grid of six projects
- A Shop page on Squarespace Commerce for retailing hair care products, and a free hair care guide newsletter block in the footer of every page
- A cream and black palette with a bold terracotta orange accent and warm brown, changed in the Squarespace style editor with no code
- GoLive's free five-day customisation course with step-by-step videos, a customer community, and unlimited email and Loom support
- An extended six-month Squarespace free trial and 20 per cent off your first year on an annual plan
Who it suits
Hair salons, barbers, nail and brow studios, aesthetics clinics and independent stylists who rent a chair. The Team page and grouped services suit a salon with several people; a solo stylist can drop the Team page and still have a full site. The warm, bold styling reads as confident rather than clinical.
Honest limits
The Appointment page is a form, not live booking: for calendar booking you add Squarespace Scheduling as a paid add-on, or embed a salon system such as Fresha or Booksy. Selling from the Shop page needs a Commerce plan, or a Business plan with transaction fees. There is no blog and no separate About page. GoLive's sales pages use the same template for every product, so judge Revival from its demo rather than the sales copy.
How it is delivered
Within 24 hours of purchase GoLive send a contributor invite to a new Squarespace trial site with Revival installed. If you already have a Squarespace 7.1 site they can install the pages into it as a paid add-on. You customise fonts, colours, images and text, then subscribe to a plan when you are ready to publish.
