Rose House

Rose House is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Nikki Butler of Lit Path Co., sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for short-term rental hosts who want a direct-booking site for one property rather than an Airbnb listing. The demo is a cottage in a coastal town: a welcome hero, a rooted-in-warmth story, an our-property teaser, an explore-the-area strip, a newsletter block, a book-a-stay prompt, guest reviews and a questions section, with About, Our Property (amenities), Area Highlights, Book Now (a date-request form with house rules), Contact, Privacy Policy and 404 pages. The old listing described a multi-property real estate site with a Properties page and booking tools, which is wrong: this is a single-property holiday let with a request form, not a booking engine.

Who it suits

Owners of a single holiday cottage, guesthouse, cabin or boutique stay who want a direct-booking presence with a story, an area guide and a request form. It also suits a bed and breakfast or a small farm stay with new photography. It is not built for an agent with a portfolio of listings.

Honest limits

Booking is a form, not a calendar: there is no availability checking or payment. To take real bookings you embed a channel manager widget (Lodgify, Hospitable, OwnerRez) or link out to your platform listing. There is no multi-property structure; a second property means duplicating pages. The vendor page lists no SquareKicker animations for this template, so it is a plainer build than most in the store, which also makes it easy to maintain. The newsletter block needs a storage destination in Squarespace before it works.

How it is delivered

There is no duplicate site to copy from.
