Soony

Soony is a free Squarespace 7.1 template built as a one-page shop for a small product brand. The demo is a candle maker, and almost everything happens on the homepage: a hero headline, a product grid of six candles with a filter bar, three short candle care sections (Lighting, Burning and Extinguishing), an Our Story block and a Stay in the Loop newsletter form. The header carries only the logo and a cart icon, with no menu at all, and the footer links to the two supporting pages, Shipping and Returns and Contact. It is a genuinely compact store layout, which is why I list it with the other single-scroll designs in our best one-page Squarespace templates roundup.

Who it suits

Makers with a tight product range: candles, soap, ceramics, coffee, small-batch food, anything where six to twelve products and a short brand story is the whole pitch. It is also a sensible pick for a first shop where you want the cart working on day one and the site kept deliberately small.

One honest caveat

A one-page shop with no navigation only works while the range stays small. Once you have categories, a blog or more than a dozen products, you will be adding pages and a menu, and at that point you are rebuilding rather than extending. There is no custom code here either, and the demo's placeholder copy means every word has to be yours.

Setting it up

Choose Soony in Squarespace's template picker or start from the demo, replace the candle products with your own, write the care and story sections, then update the shipping page and contact details. The layout uses Fluid Engine, so you can drag sections about, resize the product grid and duplicate blocks without touching code. You will need a Squarespace plan with commerce to take payments.
