Studio Aria

Studio Aria is a two-page Squarespace 7.1 template by Rara Matter, sold through the SquareKicker template store as one of their Lite templates. The designer built it for designers, creatives and agencies: sticky colour blocks guide visitors through your work in a single scroll, and the demo is a creative director's portfolio with featured projects, an about section, services, testimonials and a contact form.

Who it suits

Freelance designers, art directors, illustrators, small studios and consultants who want a striking single-scroll portfolio rather than a site with many pages. The demo navigation (Portfolio, Services, About, Contact) jumps between sections of the same scroll, which keeps the experience quick. Good for someone who has five or six strong projects and wants them to carry the site.

Honest limits

It is a Lite template with two layouts, so there is no blog, shop, individual project pages or team page; if your portfolio needs a case study per project you will design those pages yourself. The smooth scroll and cursor effects are SquareKicker settings, so changing them after the 30-day trial needs a SquareKicker subscription (the site keeps working without one). The bold colour blocks are the design, so a muted brand loses much of what you paid for. Needs a Squarespace 7.1 site on a Core or Business plan or higher.

How it is delivered

It installs through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto any Squarespace 7.1 site, new or existing, with no duplicate site or copy and paste. You choose the pages and sections, install them, then edit text and images in the Squarespace editor. It also works on a Squarespace free trial while you build.
