Sweet Scoops

Sweet Scoops is a one-page Squarespace 7.1 template by Lit Path Co. (Nikki Butler), sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for ice cream shops, dessert trucks, frozen treat pop-ups and other small seasonal food businesses. The demo scrolls from a scoops-of-joy hero into a welcome, a flavour board with classics and limited editions, a handcrafted-happiness story, a customer quote, a now-hiring block, a contact section, a social feed prompt and a newsletter sign-up. Everything a small shop needs to say sits on one page, and the old listing had that right; where it overreached was in promising built-in ecommerce.

Who it suits

Ice cream parlours, gelato counters, dessert trucks, frozen yoghurt bars, bakeries with a single counter and seasonal pop-ups that need hours, flavours, a story and a way to get in touch, and nothing more. The hiring block is a nice touch for a shop that staffs up every summer. Because it is one page, it is also one of the fastest SquareKicker templates to launch.

Honest limits

There is no shop, no online ordering and no menu block that syncs with a POS: if you want to sell tubs or gift cards you add Squarespace commerce and a products page yourself. There is no second page at all, so a business that grows into catering, events or wholesale will be adding pages from the SquareKicker section library. The flavour board is text you maintain manually. Bright and playful is the whole point, so a formal patisserie will find it hard to tone down. The scroll effects are SquareKicker features that stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing.
