Tend is a Squarespace 7.1 template by EngageTaste, sold through the SquareKicker template store, built for forest retreats, boutique resorts, wellness stays and small hospitality businesses. The demo is a cabin retreat in the trees: a live-fully hero, a slower-pace introduction, forest imagery, a suites section, a grounded-experience block and a leave-differently close, with pages for the founders, the land, suites, amenities, the experience, dining, FAQs, gatherings, contact and reservations. It is a hospitality site with big photography and long-form storytelling, not the yoga studio class-schedule template older listings described.
What you get
- Eleven page layouts: Home, Founders, The Land, Suites, Amenities, The Experience, Dining, FAQs, Gathered, Contact and Reservations, on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine
- Thirty-nine SquareKicker sections including several hero heights, sub-heroes, info, icon rows, people, pricing, services, gallery, menu, FAQ, reservations and calls to action
- A seasonal menu layout on the dining page and a reservations page for enquiries
- A green and neutral palette that changes in the Squarespace style editor
- SquareKicker animations: desktop overlay menu, primary cursor, sticky sections and sticky split layouts
- A one-off purchase with a free 30-day SquareKicker extension trial
Who it suits
Cabin and forest retreats, boutique resorts, wellness and yoga retreats with accommodation, glamping sites, farm stays and small hotels that want to sell a place and a feeling rather than a room rate. The founders and land pages suit owner-run stays. A retreat centre that hosts group gatherings gets a page for that too.
Honest limits
The reservations page is an enquiry layout, not a booking engine: connect your own booking system or a channel manager widget, and there is no availability calendar. The design depends on expansive landscape photography, so a retreat without a strong image library will not look like the demo. Eleven layouts and thirty-nine sections is a lot to edit for a two-cabin operation. There is no shop for gift vouchers without adding Squarespace commerce. The animations are SquareKicker features that stay in place after the 30-day trial but need a subscription to keep editing.
How it is delivered
SquareKicker templates install through the SquareKicker Template Engine onto a new or existing Squarespace 7.1 site: connect the free SquareKicker extension, pick the template and it installs in a few clicks, with the choice of keeping your existing site styles or replacing them with the template's. There is no duplicate site to copy from. The purchase is one-off and includes a 30-day SquareKicker extension trial; you need a Squarespace Core plan or higher to publish, and SquareKicker template buyers get 10 per cent off a Squarespace plan.
