Who Verano is built for

Verano is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Big Cat Creative with a clean, sophisticated layout for creative studios, coaches and service providers. The demo is "Studio Verano", a brand studio offering creative direction, brand design and content creation, with an "as seen on" logo strip and a "we've worked with" section, so it is pitched at businesses with a few credentials to show. The old listing filed it as a consultant template with a testimonials page; testimonials are blocks on the home page, and the tone is creative rather than corporate.

The pages and sections you get

The seven pages are Home, About, Services, Info, Folio (the portfolio) and Blog, plus a Contact page labelled "work with me". The home page runs a brand message hero, an "as seen on" logo strip, a get inspired image section, a statement block, a services teaser, a free download newsletter signup, three testimonials, a blog summary, a closing statement and a gallery. Services lists creative services with a three-step process; Info is a single-offer page with how it works, what's included and a client logo row; the Blog works out of the box. There is no shop in the base build. Matching shop, sales page, podcast, freebie and link page layouts exist, but they are sold separately as add-ons; the demo site carries them off the main navigation.

Design and customisation notes

Verano is built on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine sections, so every layout is edited with the native drag and drop editor and site styles panel; there is no plugin or code to maintain. Big Cat Creative publishes reworked demos of the same template (Verano Bold, Verano Burnbook, Verano Classic, Verano Neutral) to show how far the colours, fonts and imagery can be pushed, which I find a more honest demonstration of flexibility than a list of adjectives. Purchase includes delivery within 48 hours as a new site or an install into your existing 7.1 site, step by step video tutorials, a Squarespace resource library, editable Canva graphics, a copywriting workbook with AI prompts, an SEO checklist and a launch guide. Verano is airy and refined, with lowercase serif headings, muted tones and generous spacing; the Burnbook variant is the unexpected one, showing the same layout in a deep, dark palette.

One honest caveat

The "as seen on" and "we've worked with" logo sections only work if you have real logos to put in them. A new studio with no press or client roster should delete both sections rather than fill them with placeholders, which shortens the home page noticeably. The Info page also carries a code block in the demo, so check what it does before you publish.
