Who Victoria is built for

Victoria is a Squarespace 7.1 template by Big Cat Creative for service providers who need to explain what they do and get booked: the vendor names copywriters, virtual assistants, small businesses and creatives, and the demo is dressed as a brand and web design studio. The old listing filed it under consultants with a testimonials page; there is no separate testimonials page, and the tone is fresh and playful rather than corporate, so it suits a solo creative more than a management consultancy.

The pages and sections you get

The seven pages are Home, About, Services, Info, Portfolio, Blog and Contact (labelled "Let's Collab" in the demo). The home page runs a hero with a short intro, a featured work block, a personal bio, a services teaser, a featured blog post, a newsletter signup, a promo block for a freebie or offer and an Instagram-style gallery. Services lists two services with a testimonial, an FAQ accordion and another newsletter block; Info is a single-package page with timeline and price placeholders, deliverables and process; Portfolio is a project index and the Blog works out of the box. There is no shop in the base build. Matching shop, sales page, podcast, freebie and link page layouts exist, but they are sold separately as add-ons; the demo site carries them off the main navigation.

Design and customisation notes

Victoria is built on Squarespace 7.1 with Fluid Engine sections, so every layout is edited with the native drag and drop editor and site styles panel; there is no plugin or code to maintain. Big Cat Creative publishes reworked demos of the same template (Victoria Bold, Victoria Classic, Victoria Pro) to show how far the colours, fonts and imagery can be pushed, which I find a more honest demonstration of flexibility than a list of adjectives. Purchase includes delivery within 48 hours as a new site or an install into your existing 7.1 site, step by step video tutorials, a Squarespace resource library, editable Canva graphics, a copywriting workbook with AI prompts, an SEO checklist and a launch guide. Victoria is fresh and playful, with a mix of serif and rounded sans type, pastel colour blocks and hand-drawn accents; the Classic and Pro variants show it toned down for a more grown-up service business.

One honest caveat

Victoria has newsletter blocks on the home page and the Services page, and neither is connected to anything until you set up storage (Squarespace Campaigns, Mailchimp or similar). The demo imagery is from Unsplash, so replace it with your own work, and expect to write every word yourself because the copy is placeholder.
